Pre-K Children and Families!

Please remind your child not to bring toys from home to school.  We have lots of wonderful centers in the classroom for children's play.  Home toys could get misplaced or broken and at times lead to difficulties with sharing. Thank You.

Student's are focused on SORTING (putting things into GROUPS that GO TOGETHER).  There are many different ways to sort toys in class: by color, by shape, by size, by type of object (bears, blocks) etc.  Look for ways to sort at home, too, such as sorting spoons and forks, gloves and mittens, small/medium/large shoes or socks, colors of clothing, size or shape of dishes, etc.

If school has a delayed opening, there is no AM Pre-K but we will have PM Pre-K.  If school has an early release, there is no PM Pre-K (unless bus children arrive and then we will have a very short session).

Recess- We go outside unless it is below 15 degrees, so please send in warm outerwear everyday.  Children need snow pants or snowsuit, winter boots, a warm coat, hat/hood and mittens/gloves.  Thank You
